The meeting opened at 7:20 P.M..
Present were: Jill Murphy, Diane Maxim-Parsons, Ron Parsons, Bob Sheap, Tom Hopp, and Rose Mary Hopp.
The minutes of the last meeting
were read by the secretary and approved. Treasurer Bob Sheap reported a balance of $1,639.86.

Discussion regarding payment
of dues and revision of by-laws to encourage membership was held. Diane passed out a copy of membership
survey and this was analyzed. Ron suggested calling instead of mailing might give better results.
Motion: Membership be polled by
phone to ascertain levels of interest, participation, concerns and suggestions. Seconded.
Discussion: Tom & Bob offered
to help Ron with phoning. Survey was redefined and would begin in July.
Passed unanimously.
Dayton: July 28-31.
Jill received E-mail from Bill Blaine who will be sending information to all participants. Meeting
of all attending will take place at Jill’s house on Friday, July 21 at 7:00 P.M.
Ukraine:
We will not be receiving delegates since only 15 will be coming to U.S. and Open World has assigned the places where there are board members.
China:
10 Social Science workers from China
will be here August 22-25. A motion was made, seconded, and passed unanimously to accept the group.
Diane volunteered to be exchange director and will hold an organizational meeting at her house on Saturday, August
5 from 10 A.M. to 12 noon.
Mexico:
Grand Rapids FF is entertaining a group of 7 from Mexico from Aug.
3-10 and is negotiating for them to come to Lansing Aug. 10-17.
A motion was made to accept the group. Seconded, discussed, and passed 4-1.

Inbound
Exchange: Confirmation of inbound exchange from Mount Barker and Casterton, Australia
in August, 2007, has just been received. Exchange director is needed.
