Club Description
We are a small club (located in central Michigan) chartered in 1994 with approximately 40 members and
friends. Ideally, we would like two (2) incoming exchanges and one outbound exchange yearly.
About the region:
Michigan (shaped like a mitten) is located in the middle of the United States and surrounded by four Great
Lakes (Erie, Huron, Michigan, and Superior). Michigan has more registered boats and coastal fresh water than any other
state. Lansing is the state capitol and offers many museums, Native American Culture Center, Potter Park Zoo, Michigan
State University, and lots of shopping malls. We are close to Detroit, Ann Arbor (home of the University of Michigan) and
other interesting smaller cities and rural areas.
Our weather changes with the seasons and can range from 86 degrees
F (30 degrees C) in summer to below 0 degrees F (-18 degrees C) in winter.
