The board meeting of the Friendship Force of Greater Lansing met at the home of RoseMary
and Tom on Monday, January 22, 2007. The meeting opened at 7:09 P.M. with 5 members present: Jill, Bob, Diane, Ron, Tom, and
The minutes were read and date of meetings were corrected: The board meetings are scheduled for the 4th Monday of every other month
instead of the 3rd. Minutes approved.

March 26 at Diane and
Ron’s; May 22 at Jill’s; (July-date of inbound exchange from Australia); September 24-Jill’s;
November 26-RoseMary and Tom’s.
General meeting dates: (3rd
Friday of even months at Sam Corey’s unless otherwise announced)
February 16- Japan (slide presentation--Tom Hopp); April
20-Iceland (Program--Tonya Green); June 15-Programs --Ireland (Jill Murphy)-Dayton(Ron Parsons); Sunday, August 19-Picnic
at Jill’s; October 19-Potluck and Annual meeting; Friday, December 7-Christmas Party.
The treasurer’s report was passed out by Bob and reported we have 24
New Business: Diane suggested that we should “market” our club by letting
other clubs be aware of our website, e-mails, or other ways.
Bob stated that the website was getting filled up and that perhaps we should consider
paying $60 a month to enhance it. He and Ron were appointed to investigate the
situation and a motion was made, seconded and approved to appropriate $60 should they deem it advisable.
Jill announced that she would be attending the 30th Anniversary of FF in
Diane is Exchange Director for the in-bound Australia group. She will be holding
meetings and asking for everyone’s help.
2008 exchanges were received: Out-bound
to Costa Rica and in-bound from Causeway
Exchange directors to be chosen after the CD from International arrives describing duties
Jill asked if the Club should pursue a domestic exchange and most everyone said yes.
Gifts for inbound ambassadors was discussed. Pins, either a specific one for Lansing FF or the flag of country visited were ideas along with the Michigan-shaped
